Registrations close soon for IO&C Conference in Shanghai

Registrations for the Investment Operations & Custody Conference – World’s Best Practice – taking place in Shanghai, April 29-30, close on April 17.  A total of 28 speakers and panelists are confirmed in the latest draft Agenda, available at: www.www.ioandc.com

The conference, the first of its kind in the region, follows the new format of attendee participation through table discussions and open commentary in all sessions. It culminates in a gala dinner on April 30 with some of the proceeds going to the Shanghai charity for children with cerebral palsy, CereCare.

Keynote speakers include: DrYuanzheng Cao, director and chief economist Bank of China; Benjie Fraser, JP Morgan UK; Jeff Conway, global head of investment manager services, State Street Boston; Martin Jennings, CEO FNZ Australia and New Zealand; Stephen Wells, managing director FIG, superannuation, National Australia Bank; Jonathan Green, head of investment facilities, NSW Treasury Corporation; Gordon McKellar, chief operating officer, Future Fund; Susan Lin, regional head of Yield Book/Citi Fixed Income Indices, Asia; Peter Curtis, head of investment operations, AustralianSuper; Nick Bullman, founder of CheckRisk, UK.

  • A central theme of the conference will be discussions about impediments to cross-border investing in the region and ways to circumvent or remove them.
