Select Investment Partners, which recently became a subsidiary of OneVue, has recruited experienced investment consultant Dragana Timotijevic as head of research.
Timotijevic, who has for the past two years been doing contract work at the Australian Catholics super fund in Sydney and van Eyk Research, was previously a principal and global head of alternatives research for Mercer Investments, where she was a senior investment specialist for more than eight years.
Before Mercer, Timotijevic was head of research for more than five years at van Eyk, which was placed in administration in September. Before that she spent 10 years at Deutsche Asset Management as an economist and asset allocation strategist.
Although best known for her role with alternatives, she says recent work included investment governance, the introduction of SPS 530 (the prudential standard brought in with MySuper concerning an RE’s investment governance) and reviewing risk systems.
OneVue, the listed platforms and middle-to-backoffice servicing company, acquired Select this year. This included Select Investment Partners, which is a multi-asset manager formed in 2002, and Select Asset Management, which provides RE and other services to fund managers and fiduciaries. Select’s CIO and co-founder is Dominic McCormick. Select’s former executive chair, Brendan Foley, is now deputy CEO of OneVue. Select has three research analysts for Timotijevic to lead.
