Industry luminaries set for Chant West Awards

An impressive array of industry and political heavyweights are to attend the third annual Chant West Super Fund Awards on May 6.  The Prime Minister, Mr Abbott, will present the Super Fund of the Year Award via video at the black-tie dinner.

The awards night will be directed by MC Don Luke, the chair of QIC and former chief executive of Sunsuper.  Shadow Treasurer, Chris Bowen has also confirmed his attendance. VIPs from the industry include:

    > Greg Tanzer, Commissioner of ASIC

    > Gerard Fitzpatrick, Senior Executive Leader, Investment Managers and Superannuation, at ASIC

    > Sally Loane, Chief Executive of FSC

    > Andrew Bragg, Director of Policy and Global Markets at FSC

    > Andrea Slattery, Chief Executive of SMSF Association

    > Pauline Vamos, Chief Executive of ASFA

    > Joanna Davison, Chief Executive of FEAL

    >  Tom Garcia, Chief Executive of AIST

    >  David Whitely, Chief Executive of ISA

    >  Mark Rantall, Chief Executive of FPA

    Insurance group AIA Australia has recently been announced as the major sponsor of the awards event.
