La Trobe picks up two gongs in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong-based alternative investment publishers IAIR announced their annual award winners last week, with La Trobe Financial*, UBS Global Asset Management and Winton Capital each picking up two of the 14 awards for asset managers.

La Trobe was awarded for “excellence in mortgage fund management, independent, Australia” and “excellence and innovation in fund management, independent, Australia”. UBS was awarded “best ETF provider” and “excellence in asset management, global”. Winton Capital was awarded “excellence for independent financial research” and “excellence in investment management, global macro, SE Asia”.

The other asset managers to win awards were: MFS Investment Management; Agriworld Fund; Forum Partners, Pengana Capital; Art Futures Group; Tactical Global Management; DB Advisors; and Advent Software (for technology provider).
