Hedge Funds Rock rocks again

News

The Australian Alternative Investment Awards, held in conjunction with the Hedge Funds Rock charity fundraiser, will be proceed in-person this year after last year’s deferral to Covid-19 restrictions.

The awards, which recognise the best alternative investment funds and asset managers in the Australian funds management industry, have a new addition in the form of the best specialist ESG fund, and will be held at the annual Hedge Funds Rock charity fundraising event on December 10 at the Sydney Hilton.

“After holding a successful virtual event in the depths of COVID in 2020, we are naturally delighted to be able to hold HFR and the Awards as a live event this year,” said Kim Ivey, Australian Future Foundation Chairman and HFR co-founder. “It is the 20th year anniversary of HFR and we are planning a very special occasion.”

“I’d like to thank all the Award sponsors for their continued support of the Australian alternative investment industry and for everyone’s support of the Foundation’s work with a growing list of Australian charities. The charities, the awards, the great manager  videos, and the comradery…all make for a hugely enjoyable night.”
